We had made reservations for the first two nights
only and nearly spent the rest of the stay under
the stars. Luckily, the hotel had a cancellation.

don't bury their dead; instead they build mausoleums.

Your advice
Reserve your hotel room before departure. Extend
your stay to visit neighbouring sites: Baton-Rouge,
Lafayette, the bayous, etc.
